Volunteering at Who Con!

It takes a whole TARDIS full of dedicated beings to run a convention! Who Con is 100% run by volunteers and without their drive to create an unforgettable experience for fans alike, this event could not be possible. We would love to have you on the team! You must be at least 18 years of age on or before October 18, 2024 to volunteer
We cannot guarantee that you will get your preferred assignment, but we will do our best. If you do not state a preferred assignment / job type, you’ll be assigned wherever the need is greatest.

Terms and Conditions:

I agree that I freely accept and fully assume all risks including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from, arising in connection with, or otherwise related to my participating in the Event. I hereby waive, release and forever discharge SD WhoCon, its employees, representatives, and other Volunteers from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, damages, and expenses of any kind that I have or may have in the future against SD WhoCon resulting from, arising in connection with or otherwise related to my participating in the event.  

This agreement releases SD WhoCon from all liability relating to injuries that may occur while volunteering personal time for the convention.

I acknowledge the risks involved in Volunteer Work. These include but are not limited to fatigue, stress, and personal injury. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.  

I acknowledge that I am not an employee of SD WhoCon 2026, and that in exchange for volunteer hours I am receiving no monetary compensation.

I acknowledge I forfeit all rights to bring a suit against SD WhoCon 2026 for any reason. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.

I agree to follow any and all terms and conditions/policies listed on Convention Policies page.  I understand that these policies may be updated at anytime with or without notice, and I will be held to the version that is currently posted at the time of the convention.

Eligibility: All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age as of October 16, 2026. ID will be required when picking up volunteer badge.
